Who should attend this course?
This iFIX training course is principally designed for Process, Automation, or Instrumentation Engineers and System Integrators who will be developing, configuring, and using applications created with iFIX.

Overview:
This course is designed to pick up where the iFIX Fundamentals course ends. It is designed for people who will be configuring and developing an iFIX application and want to learn about some of the advanced features of iFIX. The course is intended to provide the student a base level of proficiency using some of the product’s more advanced features. VBA scripting is covered primarily as a tool for automating tasks for the operator. The student will also become familiar with some of the tools and concepts available for optimizing and troubleshooting iFIX
Prerequisites:
- Completion of iFIX Fundamentals course No. 154.
- Six months (or more) experience using iFIX
- Familiarity with personal computers, especially Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows 2000, and/or Microsoft Windows XP
- Working knowledge of process control applications
- Familiarity with other GE Fanuc Intellution software is helpful, though not required

Canceling or rescheduling at least 2 weeks prior to the start of class will allow us to fully refund tuition or apply credit to another class. With less than 2 weeks notice, cancellations are subject to a 75% fee and rescheduling is subject to a 50% fee. Full tuition will be charged for failing to show up for a class without notice or for leaving a class prematurely. Substitutions of one student for another who cannot make the class are accepted at any time, without charge. GE Fanuc reserves the right to cancel any course at least 2 weeks prior to the class. In this event, you will be notified and a full refund will be awarded. However, GE FANUC/AUTOMATECH, INC.
