Who should attend this course?

Designed for process, automation or instrumentation engineers along with systems integrators and any other information technology (IT) professionals who will be developing, configuring and using Real-time Information Portal applications.

Prerequisites:

Participants should have a working knowledge of Windows NT 4.0 or higher, Microsoft Windows 2000 and/or Windows XP operating systems.

Tuition:

Course Overview:

This course is designed to provide the student with a good working knowledge of Proficy Real-Time Information Portal. It is intended for new users; however, the material in this course assumes prior knowledge of GE Fanuc software.

Students will learn how to develop programs using Proficy Real-time Information Portal software. Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Describe RTIP Software and its Architecture
  • Install and Configure RTIP and Navigate the Administrator Application
  • Navigate the RTIP Client Environment
  • Utilize Data Sources and Create Analysis Display
  • Retrieve Historical, SQL and RTIP Data
  • Define and Utilize Time Settings
  • Display Data using Charts, Grids, Datalinks Form Objects and Tree Controls
  • Utilize the SQL Statement Builder Application
  • Build and Manage SQL Queries; Define and Utilize Scriptless Programming
  • Install Configure and Utilize the Remote Interface Server
  • Utilize and Animate Graphic Objects
  • Use Event and Category Charts
  • Export and Extract Data
  • Utilize Some Advance Features of RTIP

Canceling or rescheduling at least 2 weeks prior to the start of class will allow us to fully refund tuition or apply credit to another class. With less than 2 weeks notice, cancellations are subject to a 75% fee and rescheduling is subject to a 50% fee. Full tuition will be charged for failing to show up for a class without notice or for leaving a class prematurely. Substitutions of one student for another who cannot make the class are accepted at any time, without charge. GE Fanuc reserves the right to cancel any course at least 2 weeks prior to the class. In this event, you will be notified and a full refund will be awarded. However, GE FANUC/AUTOMATECH, INC.
