AutomaTech was founded and incorporated in 1995 and has expanded the business from a Massachusetts start up to now covering the entire Northeast, comprised of New England, Upstate NY and the Mid Atlantic States with offices in Plymouth MA, Danvers, MA and West Seneca NY. AutomaTech is one of the largest Industrial Automation Software Resellers in North America. Our passion is providing 1st class customer service from technical phone support to presales help with our Solution Architects helping customers apply the latest solutions to their applications and our inside customer service team who is here to help with all your product, delivery and pricing needs.
Meet the Team

Tom Schiller
President
Tom is the President of AutomaTech. Tom has over 25 years of experience with Industrial Automation and Controls in the Manufacturing and Utility Industries. He has worked with many of our clients on their MES Implementation Strategies. Tom has a BSEE in Electrical and Computer Controls from Clarkson University.

Bill Russo
Partner
Bill is a partner. Bill joined AutomaTech in 2005 as VP of Technology helping AutomaTech expand their business in the Industrial Controls Business. Bill runs the Utilities Business now in the New England Market. Previously, Bill had more than 18 years of experience in the field of industrial automation, controls and instrumentation engineering.

Jack Nedelman
Partner
Jack is a partner, having joined the company in 1995. He is responsible for AutomaTech’s Technical Team as well as business development for Life Sciences and Food/Beverage. He recently ran the Utility Industry for business development. His first role was as an application engineer at AutomaTech from 1995 to 2005. Prior to joining AutomaTech Jack was lead tech support at Intellution.

Henry Bacher
Partner
Henry is a partner, joining the company in 1997 and has 35 years’ experience in manufacturing automation, controls and related software solutions. He had begun his engineering career in 1982 and had founded Applied Sciences Group in 1993 and was CEO through 2016, specializing in Automation and Control Systems implementation, custom software development for embedded, web and desktop applications. Henry is based in Buffalo, NY and has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from SUNY College at Buffalo and an MBA from Canisius College.
