What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way of having AutomaTech news releases, customer success stories, event announcements and more delivered to you directly through your browser or favorite RSS reader. Using an RSS news reader, you can view headlines and news from AutomaTech, and you can read the full story by clicking on the headline. It's an easy way for you to be alerted when new content that interests you and is valuable to you becomes available on AutomaTech.com.
Choosing an RSS News Reader
Internet Explorer users: You must first download a special RSS news reader that allows you to collect and display RSS feeds. Many readers are available, and most are free. Here are several options to choose from:
Anyone with a My Yahoo! account can subscribe to AutomaTech’s RSS feeds. Subscribing automatically adds the feed to your My Yahoo! page. Registering for a My Yahoo! page is free.
Google offers a free reader for subscribing to RSS feeds and blogs at http://reader.google.com.
NewsGator offers a free web-based RSS news reader.
Pluck is an application that works as an add-on to Microsoft Internet Explorer. In addition to being an RSS news reader, Pluck has several other applications to help search, retrieve, organize and share content. Pluck is offered for free.
Mozilla Firefox users: You do not need to download a special news reader. Firefox is RSS-ready.
Subscribing to the AutomaTech.com RSS Feed
Internet Explorer users: Look for the orange RSS graphic [Link to rss_logo.gif] next to content that interests you on AutomaTech.com. Mouse over the image, right-click, and select "Copy Shortcut". In your news reader, select the option that adds a new feed, channel or bookmark, then paste in the URL and click OK.
Mozilla Firefox users: Look for the orange RSS graphic 
next to content that interests you on AutomaTech.com. Mouse over the image, right-click, and select "Copy Link Location". Then select Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / File / New Live Bookmark. Name the bookmark (e.g., aPriori News) and paste the URL into the Feed Location. Click OK.
